As a Part of Our Ongoing Initiative to Support Palestine & Decolonial PsychoSocial Care: We facilitated a Reflective Storytelling Pakaan Session.
.
People were asked to bring stories, anecdotes and photos from the current Gaza-crisis that have deeply impacted you. Bearing witness & holding space for their narratives is the least we can do!
This was for Palestinians (living outside) and Non-Palestinians who feel impacted; and have been engaging with the current crisis in different ways.
Given the current humanitarian crisis situation on the ground in Syria with very few resources available, it's crucial to listen to and extend relevant support to the Syrian people right now. In this regard, we have extended psychological, mental and emotional wellbeing care and support to the young people in Syria, who are in the midst of turmoil and chaos. This initiative will entail a series of sessions and conversations focused on the emergency psychosocial support to the youth; along with providing relevant care, sharing, expression, building crucial skills and locating resources.
This is an ongoing initiative by the International Center for Peace Psychology in collaboration with the Syrian Youth Assembly.
